Yes if your website run with automatic upgrades it will be given critical error which I faced recently after update to v6.1. And thanks to @Babak and other guys new version saved my life.

Yes, it just mean you won’t have auto updates, since you don’t have valid api key, like it’s with all nulled plugins

WP 6.1 introduces breaking changes which make it necessary to update WPML and String Translation before updating WordPress (see https://wpml.org/changelog/2022/10/wpml-4-5-12-updates-for-wordpress-6-1/).

Please update both WPML (4.5.12) and String Translation (3.2.3).

When this Vulnerability Appears​

The issue is extremely unlikely to be exploited and happens only under very specific circumstances:

• A user with admin permissions clicks on a malicious link from an external site using the same browser session/cookies

…and one of the following is also true:

• Server is explicitly configured to allow Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) with the domain used by the attacker
• The affected user is using a browser that neglects CORS settings or passes cookie information for requests without cross-origin policies

As far as we know, nobody actually configured their sites in this way and nobody was affected by this issue.

This WPML 4.5.14 beta version already solves this issue and the production version will follow early next week.
