I tried to use the Godaddy coupon code 'GDD99com1' to get a .com domain for 99 cents, but unfortunately the coupon did not seem to work when I entered it at checkout.Anyone know how to apply coupon to the order ?

It may have a variety of reasons.
1- the coupon is only for specific countries
2- the coupon has been expired
3- the coupon may only be used for renewal/new-orders
4- it may only be used for certain items
