Like an adage says, only two things are sure; Death and TAXES.

I want to learn from business owners in the house how they go about paying taxes, especially those in the UK with a registered business with Company House. Other countries are okay too.

So please share your experiences, I'm open to learning more.

Please don't send me to Google, I've already ransacked Google and loads of websites to learn how taxes work in several countries and how to find a way around paying less and so on but I want personal experiences including if you ever got busted for skipping a tax return.

Thanks. I hope it's not too personal, if it is mods, do your thing by closing the thread but please don't ban me, I'm only inquisitive, so I don't become depressed till the end of the world. 😂

paying less taxes is not possible, but tricking it into paying less taxes is possible, but depending on the weak regulations and loopholes in each country's laws

Interesting. What's the tax rate in your country?

Well here in *****, when it comes to online shops it's impossible to skip taxes BUT it's almost standard to skip taxes and VAT when it comes to services like electricians, plumbers or it-services where deals are made face2face. If the customer wants an invoice then he has to pay the extra tax+VAT...so most customers don't ;)

Interesting. In my country, we pay TAXES for calls, internet connections and text messages we send!

Then another tax applies to credit to your bank account, a particular fee is taken whenever you get credited above 5k.

You just add a email and they will send you vat csv file for you to add to your store and you will know the charges for each country and if it is a ecommerce it will automatic charge the client. Now if you are Legal business the taxes are higher if you only have a business registered on IRS, or UK and even on any other country you pay less because it is a home online sales and you don't have a real legal office and physical products. You need to check that they have a spot that you can request to not pay taxes.
