404 not found File in live server but works in localhost

Hey, can anyone help me with the droppy file sharing installation?

When I try installing it in localhost it works perfectly

But when I try to install it on live server

It says this in the live server

404 - File or directory not found.​

Please help me with this it will be very helpful

checkout the file directory names for example:
localhost/
should be your site address

in droppy installation process "yourdomain.com/install" will allow you to install the file but its not working on live server and it says 404 file not found

But when i try localhost/filename/install it works in localhost

Check your htaccess file

Try deleting it see if it loads then

Try uploading a simple index.html file with dummy text n check if its working. If u still get 404 so there is some configuration problem.

Well then check if u have file permission issues..

I havnt tried this script but mostly its either due to missing dependencies or file permission issue

its working but the when i click start then it redirects to https://yourserver.com/install/step2.php

And again it shows 404 file not found

That script is very good anyway , if your looking for a file sharing script then go for yetishare, 100 x better
