I would really really love to have a WordPress site like this:

Where the post page (or publication page) would have a layout like this:

And also with a way to browse issues with this kind of drop-down menu (even if it is no mandatory for me to have it):
I have been looking for it for years, but I did not find anything so far. It is very simple and very clean.
I am sure that with your expertise and your knowledge you can help my out.
Please, reply to this post if you know a WordPress theme that looks like the sites I linked above.
