I did use litespeed and it didnt seem to making any change but when using wp rocket it made dramatic reduction. But I can experiment again, still in learning stage.

First of all, without litespeed server, just with plugin will make no sense. if you want to speed up using litespeed, u need litespeed supported hosting.
my host does have litespeed server, But when I used it in conjunction with lightspeed cache, it was almost 10s, when I replaced it with WP rocket it went down to 6-7sec. But I am about to switch it back to see if there is any changes
