I used Astra some time, my opinion - it's very basic, has crappy styling for Woocommerce. Astra being promoted by Adam Preiser from wpcrafted.com, that is the popularity. Generatepress did not impress me as well. But what impresssed me is OceanWP, good styling, fast, many options, good reviews across the web.
