Anyone using either Newsomatic plugin or Echo RSS Post Generator plugin?

If you're using either of these 2 plugins and they are working, wondering if I could maybe ask a couple of questions as I am having no luck with them at all. Basically, just want to go through and compare settings because I don't see any reason why it's not working for me.
I need a good plugin that will let me search through feeds and then, based on keywords, publish articles into wordpress to specific categories.

You need to put a post in REQUESTS rather than hijacking a thread in Discussions that was purely asking for help on how a plugin works.
